Mining and quarrying experienced a sharper decrease, falling 13.8% year-over-year, and output in this sector also decreased 3.3% from May. Seasonally adjusted figures show a 4.8% rise from the previous three months. The total private-sector output in Sweden also grew in June, rising 0.4% from May and 1.8% from the same month last year.

Construction activity increased by 2.0% on the month and was 7.6% higher than a year earlier. The services index stood at 111.9, compared with 112.1 in May. Construction rose to 94.9 from 93.0. Services make up 67.2% of the broader production measure, while construction accounts for 8.4%.

Separate statistics from Statistics Sweden revealed a significant jump in new industrial orders in June. Total orders increased by 32.3% from May after seasonal adjustment, and were 29.9% higher than in June 2025 on a calendar-adjusted basis. Export orders surged 56.5% from May and 57.6% from the previous year, while domestic orders remained nearly unchanged month-over-month but declined 7.4% annually.
